The music/sound trek of Khuda Key Liay is outstanding. The audio treks viz, Bandeya, Mahi Ve, Allah Ho , really touches your heart. Lyrics are beautiful , smooth and sound mixing is impressive. After a long time ,i am anxious to have full sound trek of the film, it should be worth to collect. I have seen the film on the main Karachi Cinema, with my friends/group. Apart from few few segments in the film which could have been avoided. However, the FILM OVERALL IS EXCELLENT. Mr. Shoaib Mansoor and his team deserves full praise. On a scale of 1 To 10 I/we merit the Film at 8.2. I Fully suport “REVIVAL OF CINEMA” and all those people who despite limitations are working hard for the Cause, To protect the silver screen. actally bulle shah is being asked by his relatives to leave his murshid or guru whom he call as ‘raaean’ or ‘raaniya”
probably that was the caste of his mursheed or peer - hazrat shah anayat which was lower then bulle shahs own caste. every one was after his life to leave his guru.
thats why he explains through this song, who ever calls him sayed( bulle shahs caste) will be punished in hell and who ever calls him raaniya will be showerd with blessings. because for him his mursheed is everything and his caste is now his gurus and in whatever guru orders and decides for him - shakar or raziaan
apne mursheed ki raza mein razi rehna, thats what love is. jo woh khuda deta hai usi mein khush rehna.

What can I say about this song, even though I do not fully understand the Punjabi Bulla Shah lyrics. But this song is rocking!!!!!!. Music compostion is great and how they merge lyrics, tune , background english lyrics, classic and modern music, old and new musical instruments, and voice of both the singer in such an innovative way you can call it Music Milk shake. ;-).

The movie’s concept was refreshing and i think it definitely needs to be applauded! I like to tell Mr.Waqas that this is exactly our problem we just refuse to believe anything other than what our local molvi or alims say. Why don’t you yourself read the Quran and understand it . Do you know half of our local molvi’s are not even literate and you expect them to teach you what is written in the Quran. Islam tells us to read and understand by ourselves and if you are incapable or uneducated enough not to understand it then go to the hadis and if you still don’t understand it then go to a group of alims and let them decide! Oh and molvis also tell us that suicide bombing is Jehad and killing innocent people is Jehad. Do you agree with that too? And as for the music once again go read the Holy Quran and form your own opinion rather than listening to your local molvis. And the movie very clearly states that the girl wasn’t even a Muslim in the first place. Just having a Muslim name does not make you a Muslim! I think it was an awsum movie with awsum songs and definitely a very awsum concept behind it!

I really really loved the whole movie and the concept was brought up in an exceptionally positive spiritual attitude> the song abndeyah ho is awsome, nothing can beat this song.. Baba Bulleh Shah (a Sufi saint-poet from the Punjab part of Pakistan) was coaxed by his relatives to leave his ‘Mursheed’ or guru whom he called ‘Raiyaan’ or ‘Raaniya”. His Guru, the famous saint Shah Inayat Qadri belonged to the ‘Arain’ or ‘Raeen’ caste, while Bulleh Shah belonged to the Syed caste (he was a direct descendant of the Prophet Muhammad). Bulleh Shah had to face the resentment and taunts of his family and other ‘Syed’ friends for accepting the spiritual guidance of a non-Syed. Bulleh Shah rejected his critics’ false concept of inherent superiority and nobility of any caste through his poetry.
He explains through this poem that whoever calls him ‘Syed’ will be punished in hell and who ever calls him ‘Raaniya’ will be showered with blessings…because for him his Guru is everything and he does not want to be differentiated from the common ummaties.

Bulleh Shah’s sisters and sisters-in-laws came to convince him.

Why do you separate the Prophet’s and Ali’s decendants from the common people (why do you wedge a divide between the two)?
