Yash Raj’s next release Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (RNBDJ) starring Shah Rukh Khan is not being released in Pakistan. RNBDJ releases in India on December 12, which was also the release date for Pakistan. However, it’s confirmed that the release might either be delayed or it may not happen at all.
A source reveals, “The terror attacks in the city have marred Bollywood as well. Since the government is talking about cutting all kinds of bilateral ties with Pakistan, it doesn’t make sense to release an Indian film there.
Even though there is a huge fan following of Shahrukh Khan in Pakistan, none of SRK’s movies ever released in Pakistan. This time all his fans were anxiously waiting for “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi” to be released but now everyone is totally disappointed with this decision of skipping Pakistan release.
It is learnt that Aditya Chopra had a discussion with Shah Rukh over the same and both agreed that the terror attacks are quite fresh in public memory and it would send out the wrong signals.
So, now everyone in Pakistan has to enjoy a pirated print of the movie.
